Announcement ·
three services, seven rooms
A schedule table for a season of services and rooms
Build a whole season of weekend services and rooms in one step, and show it as a schedule table — date, service, time, and spots in columns — that stacks by day on a phone. Every plan.
Announcement ·
pick your Sundays
One sheet for every Sunday, scheduled in Planning Center Services
A sheet linked to a Planning Center Services team now schedules each sign-up onto the plan for the date of the slot they picked, so one Greeters sheet with a dated slot per Sunday fills every week's plan. Pro.
Announcement ·
meal train next?
Your first sheet filled up. Here's a head start on the next one
When your church's first sheet fills up or gets 5 sign-ups, your dashboard suggests a likely next sign-up, like a meal train after the potluck or an angel tree in Advent, with the template already picked. It shows once. Every plan.
Announcement ·
three lasagnas is plenty
A meal train template: two weeks of dinners, ready to share
Start from a template now includes a meal train: fourteen nights, one cook each, every night dated from the first, a public “What are you bringing?” note, and the family's address sent only to the people who sign up. Every plan.
Announcement ·
room for about 30
RSVPs can stop at 30 seats
An RSVP question can now have a seat limit, counting each party's headcount. When it's full, new yeses are turned away, a no still goes through, and the waitlist takes over. You can also give the spot count when you create a sheet and change a sheet's type later. Every plan.
Announcement ·
the last weekend of November
Recurring forms can keep a whole season open
A recurring form's Keep open setting now keeps the next 2 to 12 dates open, or every date through a last date you choose, so volunteers can claim “the last weekend of November” in October. Each date stays its own sheet with its own sign-ups and reminders. Basic & Pro.
Announcement ·
two more for the toddler rooms
Ask your whole People list, minus the people already serving
Message volunteers can now write to your whole People list about the spots you're short on, leaving out whoever is already serving that day. Publish can invite everyone in the same click, reminders name the service (“9:30 service — Room 4”), and your sign-ups can live on a phone's home screen. Basic & Pro for the emails; every plan for the home screen.
Announcement ·
so we build the right sync next
One question: which church software do you use?
An optional question at registration, a one-time pop-up on the dashboard (once more two weeks later if you say not now), and editable on Integrations. Your system's card moves to the top of Integrations, Realm churches get the Export for Realm button, and we learn which syncs to build next. Every plan.
Announcement ·
no API, no problem
Realm churches: a file your import tool already understands
Realm has no API, so there's no sync to wait for. Instead, every sheet and the People page now have Export for Realm: a file in Realm's own Import Profiles layout, one row per person, that loads under Profiles → Import Profiles with nothing to rename. Basic & Pro.
Announcement ·
undo, for sheets
Deleted a sheet by mistake? You have 30 days
Delete no longer means gone. A deleted sheet waits in a Deleted list on your dashboard with every sign-up still on it, and any admin can restore it as a draft — same link, same folder. After 30 days it's removed for good, or sooner if the owner says so. Every plan.
Announcement ·
one less thing to type
Two sharing things: links in descriptions, and invitations that open already filled in
A web address or email in a description is now a link, with your line breaks kept. And the button in every invitation and last call carries the volunteer's name and email, so the form opens filled in — add ?name=&email= to any sheet link to do the same from your newsletter tool. Every plan.
Announcement ·
in your words, not ours
After they sign up: your own thank-you, a next step, a closed note, and a limit for forms
One new card on every sheet's Settings tab. Say thanks in your words on the page and in the confirmation email, send people on to your website or a giving page with a button, write the note they see when the sheet is closed, and let a plain form stop after a set number of responses. Plus “Sign up someone else.” Every plan.
Announcement ·
no ticket required
Change your login email, or delete the account, without emailing anyone
Two account basics that used to route through support now live under Dashboard → Security: move your login to a new address (confirmed from the new inbox, with the old one told either way), and let the owner delete the whole account — subscription cancelled first, everything removed, a receipt emailed. Every plan.
Roundup ·
the last of the list
Small things, round two: reminder timing, a full-sheet email, meeting links, open spots first, and find my sign-ups
Seven small things from the same review: pick when reminders go out per sheet, a one-time email when a sheet fills, Zoom links that open themselves, full spots after the open ones, a page that re-emails your sign-up links, a home-screen icon under your church's name, and the account-basics help article. Every plan.
Announcement ·
who's on this Sunday?
For the team leader, the welcome table, the church that just moved over, and the one who can't make Sunday
A read-only roster link for the coordinator who needs the list but not a login. A printable check-in sheet with a signed-in column. Import your own volunteers into People so there's someone to invite on day one. And swap requests: a volunteer asks, the people on the spots they picked get one email, the first to say yes trades places with them.
Roundup ·
the small things add up
Four small things: hours served, spots per person, “can't this time,” and shifts by time
The People page now counts hours from past timed slots and puts them on the certificate. A sheet can cap spots per person. Invitations get a one-click “can't this time” that the last call respects. And a shift generator lays out every hour of a vigil or every twenty minutes of appointments. Every plan.
Announcement ·
doors open at nine
Sign-ups that open and close on a schedule
Set when a sheet starts taking sign-ups and when it stops — registration that opens Monday at 9, a schedule that closes Thursday so it can be printed. People see the whole sheet either way; the buttons just wait. Lock a sheet by hand to freeze everything. Times in your church's zone, every plan.
Announcement ·
the front lot is closed
Message your volunteers, right from the sheet
Email everyone signed up on a sheet — or only the people on certain slots — in your own words: parking, what to wear, thank you for Saturday. Each person gets it once with their own sign-ups listed, replies come to you, and the Sign-ups tab records what went out. Basic & Pro, any admin.
Announcement ·
the service moved to 10
When the time changes, your volunteers now hear about it
Move a slot's time, re-date a section, shift every date, or fix the location, and SignUpChurch offers to email everyone signed up — old and new details side by side, a fresh calendar invite, and a cancel link if the new time doesn't work. Ticked by default, only sends when something actually moved. Every plan.
Announcement ·
skip the blank page
Five new templates, and a help center for your volunteers
Start a potluck, a 24-hour prayer vigil, an angel tree, a ministry interest form, or an event RSVP from a ready-made draft — six templates now, on every plan. And a new “For volunteers” help section answers the questions your people actually ask: how to sign up, change or cancel, add it to a calendar, and what the waitlist does.
Announcement ·
a tidy dashboard
Folders and a grid view for your sheets
Put your sheets in folders you name — “Fall 2026,” “Meal trains,” “Kids” — from a Folder menu on every card, and flip the dashboard from a list to a grid of tiles two or three across. Both remembered per browser, both on every plan, neither changes a thing volunteers see.
Announcement ·
say it in a sentence
Draft a form with AI, and a New sheet screen that explains itself
Describe a connect card or prayer-request form in a sentence and the AI builder drafts it as a plain form. The New sheet screen gets a clearer layout with a help link on every card, a form's event details fold away, and a form can switch off the copy each person gets.
Announcement ·
yours, mine, and ours
Managed by, and “My sheets”
Several leaders, one account: every sheet now has a manager, the dashboard gets a My sheets switch, and a managed sheet's sign-up emails go to its manager and the account owner instead of everyone. The owner still sees it all. Every plan.
Announcement ·
one link, every sheet
Your church page: one link for every sign-up
Turn on a public page at signupchurch.com/c/your-church that lists every published sheet you tick, with open-spot counts — one link for the newsletter, one QR code for the lobby TV, and nothing to update when a sheet closes. Every plan.
Announcement ·
the baby came early
Dated sections, and moving every date at once
A section can now carry a date, and every slot under it takes that day — so a meal train is “Tuesday: main, salad, dessert,” dated once. Move all dates shifts the whole sheet by the same number of days and keeps every sign-up. And Duplicate asks when the copy should start, so next quarter's rota re-dates itself.
Announcement ·
check all that apply
Checkbox questions, and name and email first
Custom questions get a fourth type: Checkboxes (pick any), for “which programs interest you?” and “which days can you help?” — with follow-ups that appear when one box is checked. And every sign-up form now asks for name, email, and phone before your questions.
Announcement ·
three things you asked for
Sheets sorted by event date, and a third carpool answer
The dashboard now lists your sheets by event date (or newest, or title — your pick, remembered). Carpool questions get an “I don't need a ride” answer so nobody has to guess who forgot to respond. And the stats row now counts people, not “volunteers.”
Announcement ·
kick the tires first
Try SignUpChurch without an account
A sandbox at /demo: build a sample sheet in your browser and see the real volunteer sign-up page next to it — even sign yourself up. No login, nothing saved; refresh and it's gone.
Announcement ·
not everything needs slots
Just a form: connect cards, prayer requests, and interest lists without slots
Not everything needs spots. Start a sheet as “Just a form,” add your questions, and share one link — every response lands on your dashboard, in your sign-up emails, in the CSV export, and on your People page. On Pro, each person syncs to your ChMS. Every plan, including Free.
Announcement ·
where your team already talks
Send sign-ups to Slack
On Pro, any form can now post its new sign-ups and cancellations to a Slack channel, private channels included, with only the fields your team needs. Connect Slack once, then pick a channel on each form.
Announcement ·
the shirt order, done
Your sign-up answers, as a spreadsheet
The Sign-ups tab now has a table view with one column per custom question, sortable by any answer. On Basic and Pro, download exactly what you see as a CSV, or export everyone from the People page with their latest answers.
Announcement ·
who's coming, at a glance
Every sign-up in one list, and a tidier sheet page
Each sheet now has tabs, starting with Sign-ups: everyone who signed up in one searchable list, grouped by slot, with their answers. Settings, sharing, and design each have their own tab. On every plan.
Announcement ·
every name, in one place
Collect your All Saints' necrology list online
A new memorial (necrology) template gathers the names your congregation wants remembered. One form takes several names, the list never fills up, and the public page doesn't show who submitted. On every plan, including Free.
Announcement ·
try before you tithe
Try Basic or Pro free for 14 days
Your church's first upgrade now starts with a 14-day free trial. Add a card at checkout, use every feature of the plan right away, and you aren't charged until the trial ends — downgrade before then and you pay nothing.
Announcement ·
prettier, for less
Custom colors, fonts, and your logo — now on Basic
Form design isn't Pro-only anymore. Basic churches can now give every sign-up form and embed their own fonts, colors, spacing, and logo, plus a custom link-preview image.
Announcement ·
one church, one account
Someone at your church already uses SignUpChurch? Now you'll know
Sign up with your church email and we'll tell you when someone on your staff already has an account — then one click asks to join it as an admin instead of starting a duplicate.
Announcement ·
never locked out again
Every plan now includes a backup admin
Free and Basic churches can now add one admin besides the owner, and any owner can hand the account to another admin before they leave — so a staff change never locks your church out of its sign-ups.
Announcement ·
one was never enough
The Free plan now includes three active sheets
Free churches can now run three sign-up sheets at once instead of one — the Sunday schedule, a meal train, and the next event, side by side. Still unlimited sign-ups, no ads, and no credit card. Referral bonus sheets stack on top.
Announcement ·
one email, not forty
Sign-up emails on your schedule — daily and weekly roundups, and a mute that's only yours
New sign-up emails can now arrive as one daily or weekly roundup instead of one per sign-up, set account-wide or form by form. And each admin can mute their own copy without changing what the rest of the team gets. Every plan.
Announcement ·
the size chart, where the roster lives
Sign-up answers now sync to Planning Center — as a note, in the category you pick
Opt in from Settings and every sign-up's custom-question answers — t-shirt sizes, allergies — are added to the volunteer in Planning Center People as one note, filed in the note category you choose. Append-only, permission-aware, off by default.
Announcement ·
a whole sheet in one sentence
The AI sheet builder: describe your sign-up, get a draft
Pro accounts can now type a sentence like “4 greeters, 2 nursery volunteers, and someone on slides for both services” on the New sheet screen and get a complete draft — sections, slots, and spot counts filled in, ready to review in the editor before publishing.
Announcement ·
what size, though?
Custom questions, with conditional logic — ask for the t-shirt size on the form
Every sheet can now ask its own questions — dropdowns, short answers, yes/no — required or optional, with questions that appear only when an earlier answer calls for it. Answers land on your dashboard and in the CSV.
Announcement ·
your sheets, minus the checking
Your week at a glance: open-spot nudges, a Monday summary, and weekly repeats on Basic
Admins get a heads-up when spots are still open before an event and a Monday summary of the week, the dashboard gains a People page and fill-rate stats, volunteers stop retyping their details — and weekly recurring forms move from Pro to Basic.
Announcement ·
even billing gets a sabbath
Pause your subscription for the slow season
Downgrading now offers a better option: pause for 1–3 months, keep every feature and all your sheets, pay nothing while things are quiet, and billing restarts automatically.
Announcement ·
somebody's 50th Sunday deserves cardstock
Milestone badges and appreciation certificates for your volunteers
The People page now tracks serving milestones and generates a print-ready appreciation certificate — or a shareable image — for any volunteer, in your church's colors, on every plan.
Announcement ·
no more first-to-click races
Full slots now take a waitlist — next in line, one at a time
When a spot frees up on a full slot, the first person in line is offered it by email with a 24-hour window — one at a time, in order, never a blast to everyone at once. On every plan, on by default.
Announcement ·
your people, first
Invite your regulars, and sound the last call
Two ways to fill a sheet from the people who already love serving: personal invitations to your most faithful volunteers when a sheet goes up, and a one-button last-call email listing the open spots when the event is close. Basic & Pro.
Roundup ·
we've been busy
September roundup: 2FA, dashboard search, and volunteers who fix their own typos
Everything that shipped this month: two-factor authentication, dashboard search, volunteer self-service editing, dated slots, sign-up detail emails, and refer-a-church.
Announcement ·
goodbye, Monday-morning data entry
The Church Community Builder sync is live
Pro sheets now sync every volunteer straight into your CCB (Pushpay) people list — matched by email, created cleanly, nothing else touched.
Deep dive ·
shotgun! (kidding, use the sheet)
Carpool sign-ups: drivers offer seats, riders claim them
A deep dive on the carpool question — how drivers list their seats, how riders pick a car, and why nobody loses their spot when plans change.
