what size, though?
Custom questions, with conditional logic — ask for the t-shirt size on the form
The youth trip sheet fills up beautifully — and then you spend the next week texting twenty-three families one at a time to ask what shirt size they wear. The sign-up form should have asked. Now it can.
Three kinds of questions
The sheet editor's new Custom questions card takes up to ten questions per form: short answer (a free-text box), dropdown (you list the options, they pick one), and yes/no. Mark any of them required and the sign-up won't go through without an answer.
Questions are asked once per submission — someone signing up for three slots answers once, in the same summary form as their name and email, not three times.
Questions that know when to appear
The part we're most excited about: a question can hide behind an earlier answer. Set “Do you already have a team shirt?” as a yes/no, then set “T-shirt size” to appear only when the answer is No. People who have a shirt never see the dropdown; people who don't get it the moment they answer.
Required plays fair with conditions — required means required when asked. A hidden question is never demanded, and an RSVP “no, can't make it” isn't blocked on event questions either.
Answers where you need them
Every answer shows on the sheet's dashboard next to the person it belongs to — T-shirt size: L — and the CSV export grows one column per question, so the shirt order is a download away.
