1. What the program is
SignUpChurch, operated by Katie Allred Consulting LLC, can send volunteers a reminder text message the day before something they signed up for on a church's sign-up sheet. That is the whole program: reminders about your own sign-ups. We never send marketing, fundraising, or promotional texts, and churches cannot use it to broadcast to you.
2. Opting in
You only receive texts if you checked the “Text me a reminder” box when signing up and provided your mobile number. Nobody can opt you in on your behalf — sign-ups a church office enters for you never enable texting. Consent is not a condition of signing up; skip the box and everything else works the same, including email reminders.
3. Message frequency and rates
Expect at most one reminder text per event day you signed up for — if you claimed three slots on the same day, they arrive as one message. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Opting out
Reply STOP to any message and texts end immediately — that's handled at the carrier level and we can never override it. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@signupchurch.com. Canceling a sign-up also means no reminder for it, text or otherwise.
5. Your number and your privacy
Your phone number is used to send the reminders you asked for and is shown to the church whose sheet you signed — the same as the rest of your sign-up details. We never sell it, and no mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or lead generation. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
