Terms of Service

Effective September 7, 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

SignUpChurch, operated by Katie Allred Consulting LLC (“SignUpChurch,” “we,” “us”), provides online sign-up sheets built for churches at signupchurch.com (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing up on a sheet, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a church or other organization, you agree to these terms for that organization and confirm you have the authority to do so.

2. The Service

SignUpChurch lets churches create and share sign-up sheets for volunteers, meals, events, and similar ministry activities. Depending on your plan, the Service also includes features like email confirmations and reminders, embeds, QR codes, custom themes, and automatic syncing of sign-ups to church management software (“ChMS”) such as Planning Center, Breeze, Tithe.ly, and CCB.

We may change, add, or remove features over time. If we make a change that meaningfully reduces what a paid plan includes, we will let you know.

3. Accounts

Church administrators create accounts with a name, email address, and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@signupchurch.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Volunteers do not need an account to sign up on a sheet — they simply provide the information the sheet asks for.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Service offers a Free plan and paid monthly subscriptions. Current pricing is listed on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

  • Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel.
  • You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable — but if something went wrong, email us and we’ll try to make it right.
  • If we change prices, we will give you notice before the new price applies to your subscription.

5. Your content and data

Your sheets, sign-ups, logos, and other content belong to you (or to the people who submitted them). You grant us the limited rights needed to host, display, transmit, and back up that content in order to run the Service — for example, showing your sheet to volunteers, sending confirmation emails, and syncing sign-ups to a ChMS you connected.

Churches are responsible for the content of their sheets and for handling volunteer information appropriately, including honoring volunteers’ requests about their own information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • send spam or collect personal information from people without a legitimate reason connected to your sign-up sheets;
  • upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours;
  • harass, deceive, or harm others, or impersonate another person or organization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first.

7. ChMS integrations

If you connect a ChMS integration, you authorize us to send sign-up information (such as volunteer names, emails, and phone numbers) to that provider on your behalf, and you confirm you are allowed to add that data to your ChMS. Your use of a ChMS is governed by that provider’s own terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

ChMS sync is used at your own risk. Syncing depends on third-party systems we do not control, and mistakes or issues can happen — for example, sign-up data that fails to arrive, arrives late, is duplicated, or creates or updates the wrong records in your ChMS. To the fullest extent permitted by law, signupchurch.com and Katie Allred Consulting LLC are not liable for any mistakes, errors, data issues, or other problems that occur while syncing your ChMS with the Service. You are responsible for reviewing what sync writes to your ChMS and for keeping your own records accurate.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account for violations of these terms, to comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service (in which case we’ll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to keep SignUpChurch reliable, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every email or ChMS sync will be delivered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignUpChurch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact
