Try it before you sign up
Build a sample sheet right here and see exactly what your volunteers would see. Nothing is saved, and a refresh starts over.

Nothing here is saved. Refresh and it's gone. On a real account you'd also get a shareable link and QR code, custom questions, a waitlist, reminder emails, and the sign-ups on your dashboard.

Three things to try
1.
Build the sheet
Pick volunteer sign-ups, an event RSVP, or both; give it a title; add slots with the number of spots each one needs.
2.
Look at the volunteer view
The page on the right is the sign-up page for your sheet, updating as you type. Try an accent color or hide the names.
3.
Sign up as a volunteer
Pick a spot, type a name, and confirm. The card updates — that's the whole volunteer flow, no account needed on either side.
Common questions
- Do I need an account to try it?
- No. The sandbox on this page runs entirely in your browser. There's no login, no email address to enter, and nothing is sent to us.
- Is anything I type saved?
- No. The sheet lives only in this browser tab. Refresh the page, or close it, and it resets to the example. Sign-ups you make in the volunteer view update the cards on this page and nowhere else.
- Is this the real sign-up page volunteers would see?
- Yes — the volunteer view is the same page component a published sheet uses, so the cards, spots-left counts, names, and the one-form sign-up flow are exactly what your volunteers would get. The address bar just says “example” because the sandbox doesn't mint a real link.
- What's missing from the sandbox?
- Everything that needs an account: a shareable link and QR code, custom questions, the waitlist, confirmation and reminder emails, the sign-ups on your dashboard, and ChMS sync. The AI builder, templates, and the SignUpGenius/Jotform importer aren't here either. The Free plan includes three active sheets, so creating the real thing costs nothing.
- Can I keep what I built here?
- Not directly — the sandbox doesn't save. Creating a free account takes about a minute, and the New sheet screen asks the same questions, so rebuilding it for real is quick.
