the shirt order, done

Your sign-up answers, as a spreadsheet

Custom questions collect the details your event runs on: shirt sizes, allergies, which service someone can make. Reading them one sign-up at a time is fine for ten people and painful for a hundred. So the Sign-ups tab now lays them out like a spreadsheet, and hands you the spreadsheet when you need it.

The short version: On a sheet's Sign-ups tab, switch to Table for one column per custom question, and sort by any answer. On Basic and Pro, Download as CSV saves exactly what you're looking at, and the People page exports everyone with their latest answers.

A table with a column per question

Next to the search box, switch from List to Table. Each sign-up becomes a row with its slot, email, phone, quantity, note, and a column for every custom question. Click a column heading to sort by it. Sorting by “T-shirt size” puts all the XLs together, then the Ls, with blanks at the end.

Download what you see

The Download as CSV link above the list saves the sign-ups you're looking at, in the order you're looking at them. Search “XL” first and the file is the shirt order. Search a slot name and it's that team's roster.

Everyone, across every sheet

The People page has its own Export CSV now: one row per person, with their sign-up count, when they started serving, and their most recent answer to each question you've asked. Ask “T-shirt size” on three different sheets and it's still one column, holding each person's latest answer.

The walkthrough is in the help center: See everyone who signed up.

Common questions

Which plans get this?
The table view and sorting by an answer are on every plan, including Free. Downloading a CSV, from a sheet or from the People page, is a Basic and Pro feature.
What does the People export include?
One row per person: name, email, phone, how many times they've signed up, on how many sheets, when they started serving, their latest sign-up, and their most recent answer to each custom question. Questions with the same wording on different sheets share one column.
Does the sheet's Export CSV button still download everything?
Yes. The button at the top of the sheet's page always downloads every sign-up. The download link on the Sign-ups tab is the one that follows your search and sort.
