everyone, one list
See everyone who signed up
Before an event you usually want one thing: who's coming, and what did they tell you? The Sign-ups tab answers that without clicking through slot after slot.
What the list shows
- Grouped by slot, in the same order as your form, with the section name and how full each slot is (“3 of 4 filled”).
- Each person's details: name, email, phone, how many spots they took, their note, and their answers to your custom questions (“T-shirt size: L”).
- RSVP and carpool answers with their badges: “Yes · 3 coming,” “Driving · 4 seats,” “Needs a ride.”
- ChMS scheduling status on sheets linked to a Planning Center team, an Elvanto group, or a Breeze tag or event, the same as on the Slots tab.
- The waitlist at the bottom, next in line first, with each person's slot.
The tab shows how many sign-ups the sheet has, and the bar under the title adds how many spots are still open.
Search and sort
The search box filters as you type, across names, emails, phone numbers, notes, answers, and slot names. The Sort menu switches between By slot (the default), Name (A–Z),Newest first, and By any of your custom questions, which puts everyone with the same answer together (all the XLs, then the Ls), with blanks last. Outside the slot view, each person carries a tag naming their slot.
See it as a table
Switch from List to Table for a spreadsheet view: one row per sign-up, with columns for the slot, email, phone, quantity, RSVP or carpool response, note, when they signed up, and one column for each custom question. Click a column heading (Name, Slot, a question, or Signed up) to sort by it, and click it again to go back to form order. The search box works the same in both views.
Download it as a CSV (Basic & Pro)
Download as CSV, just above the list, downloads exactly what you're looking at, in the same order: search “XL” and the file is your shirt order. Each custom question gets its own column. With no search, it downloads every sign-up, like the Export CSV button at the top of the page.
For everyone across all your sheets, use Export CSV on the People page: one row per person, with their sign-up count, when they started serving, and their most recent answer to each question you've asked.
Move or remove someone
Next to each person, the slot menu moves them to another slot (regular slots only; RSVP and carpool answers stay put), and the ✕ removes them. Both send the volunteer an email. If a removal frees a spot on a full slot, the waitlist offers it to the next person in line.
Common questions
- Which plans include the Sign-ups tab?
- All of them, including Free, with the table view and searching and sorting. Downloading the list as a CSV file is a Basic and Pro feature.
- Does the CSV download include custom-question answers?
- Yes. Every custom question gets its own column, labeled with the question (“T-shirt size”), next to the slot, section, date, time, name, email, phone, quantity, RSVP and carpool answers, and note. Download from the Sign-ups tab and the file holds exactly the sign-ups you're looking at, in the same order; the Export CSV button at the top of the page always downloads every sign-up.
- Can I export everyone across all my sheets?
- Yes, on Basic and Pro. The People page's Export CSV gives one row per person, with how many times they've signed up, when they started serving, and their most recent answer to each custom question. Questions asked with the same wording on different sheets, like “T-shirt size,” share one column.
- What can I search for?
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, answers to your custom questions, and slot or section names. Type “XL” to find every extra-large t-shirt, or a slot name to see just that slot.
- Does the volunteer hear about it when I move or remove them?
- Yes. Moving someone to another slot emails them the change, and removing them emails them that they've been taken off. Removing someone from the waitlist sends no email.
- How do I add someone myself?
- On the Slots tab, use + Add person under the slot. They show up on the Sign-ups tab right away.
- Why does the sheet open on Slots instead of Sign-ups?
- Until someone signs up there's nothing to list, so a new sheet opens on Slots, where you build it. Once the first person signs up, the sheet opens on Sign-ups.
