Organize with sections
Sections group slots under headings on your public form — think “Food,” “Setup crew,” “Cleanup” on one potluck sheet. They keep a long form scannable, and an empty section doubles as a plain text block.
Add a section
Open your sheet's editor.
From the dashboard, click the sheet you want to organize. The + Add a section button sits at the top of the Form content area.
Give it a heading.
Type the section heading (e.g. “Food”) and, optionally, text to show under it — instructions like “Please label anything with nuts!” work great here.
Add slots inside it.
Every section has its own Add a slot card, so new slots land in the right group. You can set up all your sections first and fill them in after, or start flat and organize later.
Moving slots around
- Drag and drop — drag any slot card into a section (or back out) and drag to reorder within a group.
- The “Move to” menu — each slot card also has a menu for sending it to another section without dragging.
- Reorder sections — drag whole sections to change the order they appear on the form.
Slots that aren't in any section appear at the top of the public form, above the first section heading.
Sections as text blocks
A section with no slots renders as just its heading and text — a handy way to add a welcome note, directions, or a “What to bring” list anywhere on the form.
