Publish, share & embed

Sheets start as drafts. When yours is ready, one click makes it public — and you get three ways to put it in front of your people.

Publish your sheet

In the sheet's editor, click Publish at the top right. The banner turns green and shows your live link. You can Unpublish at any time — the page goes dark but every sign-up is kept.

Share the link

Every sheet gets a short public link like signupchurch.com/s/easter-greeters. Copy it with the button next to the link and drop it in your bulletin, group chat, or email blast. You can customize the ending (the “slug”) right below the link — old links keep redirecting after a change, so nothing you already printed breaks.

Control the link preview

When your link is shared in a group chat or on social media, it unfurls into a preview card. The sheet editor's Search & link preview panel controls all of it: the meta title and meta description (leave them blank to use the sheet title and description) and the preview image. By default the image is a card we generate from your sheet — title, church name, and event date. Pro churches can upload their own PNG, JPEG, or WebP (1200×630 works best, up to 1MB) with Upload image, and Remove it any time to go back to the generated card.

Uploaded images aren't kept forever: the day after the event, the image is deleted automatically and the sheet is archived (every sign-up is kept — restore it from the dashboard any time). Archiving a sheet yourself deletes its uploaded image a day later too. On a recurring form the image stays with the series, carried onto each new occurrence.

Print the QR code

The editor generates a print-ready QR code that points at your public page — download it as PNG or SVG and put it on slides, posters, or connect cards. If you change the link, the QR code regenerates automatically.

Embed it on your website

The Embed on your website panel gives you a snippet to paste into your church site — either inline (the form appears right on the page) or as a popup button. Sign-ups made through the embed work exactly like the public page.

Want the form to match your church's look? The Design panel on each sheet (and the church-wide design page) lets Pro churches set fonts, colors, spacing (Compact, Comfortable, or Spacious — how tightly the page and its slot cards are packed), and a logo — and if your logo already includes your church name, a checkbox under the logo hides the repeated name text on your forms. If a color combo would be too low-contrast for volunteers to read, the editor asks for a stronger pairing before saving.
