Connect your ChMS
Connect your church management software once, and every volunteer who signs up on any of your sheets lands in it automatically — no more retyping names on Monday morning.
ChMS sync is a Pro plan feature ($24/mo). All integrations live in one place: Dashboard → your name (top right) → Integrations.
Planning Center
Planning Center connects with your Planning Center login — no API key needed.
Open Integrations and click “Connect with Planning Center.”
Sign in to Planning Center.
Use an account with access to People and Services — People is where volunteers sync, and Services is only used if you later link a sheet to a Services team. (Connected before Services was an option? Click Reconnect once to grant it.)
Approve the access request.
Planning Center shows what SignUpChurch will be able to do; click allow and you're sent back with a green Connected badge.
MinistryPlatform
MinistryPlatform runs on your church's own domain and uses an API client (a client ID + secret) that your MP administrator creates.
Create an API Client in MinistryPlatform.
In MinistryPlatform, go to Administration → API Clients and add a new client (ACST's API Clients guide covers the details). The client is tied to a user account and inherits that account's permissions — it needs to be able to read and create Contacts.
Gather three things.
- Your MP domain — the address you use MP at, e.g. my.gracechurch.org
- The API client's Client ID
- The API client's Client Secret
Enter them in SignUpChurch.
On the Integrations page, fill in the domain, client ID, and client secret on the MinistryPlatform card and click Connect.
Breeze, Tithe.ly, CCB & Realm
Breeze and Tithe.ly (now one platform under Tithe.ly) no longer offer public API access, so both syncs are built and waiting on partner API access from Tithe.ly. CCB (Pushpay) support is built and waiting on Pushpay's partner API approval, and Realm (ACS Technologies) doesn't offer a public API yet. All four show as “Coming soon” on the Integrations page. Want a heads-up when they go live? Drop us a note.
Troubleshooting & good to know
- Connection error badge? The key didn't work — it may be mistyped, revoked, or missing permissions. Paste a fresh key and click Reconnect; the new credentials replace the old ones in place.
- Your keys are safe. API keys and secrets are encrypted before they're stored, and we never display them back to you.
- Disconnect any time. Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials. People already synced stay in your ChMS — SignUpChurch never deletes anything there.
- You can connect more than one ChMS — every sign-up syncs to all connected systems.
