easy sign-ups for the easy ChMS

Coming soon

Sign-up forms that sync straight into Breeze

You picked Breeze because it's simple. Your sign-ups should be too: share one link, and every volunteer lands in your Breeze people database — matched by email, or added as a clean new person.

Sheets are free today — Breeze ChMS sync is coming soon on the Pro plan ($24/mo).

how it connects

Where the sync stands

Breeze (now part of Tithe.ly) no longer offers public API access, so the Breeze sync is built and waiting on partner API access from Tithe.ly. It shows as “Coming soon” on the Integrations page — drop us a note from the help center for a heads-up when it goes live.

Tags, one sheet at a time

Breeze churches run their teams on tags, so that's what a sheet links to. Pick a tag on any sheet and everyone who signs up gets it — and if a sign-up is canceled, the tag is removed only when the sign-up is what added it. Someone who already had the tag is never touched.

the good stuff

What the Breeze ChMS sync gets you

Straight onto the right tag

Link a sheet to the tag your team lives on — "Greeters," "VBS 2027" — and every sign-up lands there automatically, ready for your Breeze emails and reports.

Match by email, create if new

Members stay one record; new volunteers become one clean person with name, email, and phone — no more Monday spreadsheet imports.

Cautious with your database

Existing Breeze people are never edited — not even to add a phone — because Breeze's API can't tell us what's already there. When in doubt, sync touches nothing.

no surprises in your database

Exactly what sync writes — and never will

What it writes

  • Searches your people database by the volunteer's email first — returning volunteers are matched, not duplicated.
  • New volunteers become a person with first and last name, plus their email and mobile phone stored in your account's fields.
  • Existing people aren't edited at all — Breeze search results don't reveal whether a phone is on file, so we never risk overwriting one.
  • On sheets linked to a tag: the volunteer gets that one tag, and loses it on cancellation only if the sign-up added it.

What it never touches

  • Never edits or overwrites an existing person.
  • Never deletes people, and never creates tags.
  • Never touches other tags, events, or giving.
  • Never imports or stores your Breeze data — sync is one-way.

Matching keys off the volunteer's email, so on sheets where you've made email optional, a sign-up made without one is never synced — no unmatchable records, no duplicates. The full transparency doc lives in the help center: what sync updates (and what it doesn't).

Questions churches ask

How do sign-ups get into Breeze?

Once the sync is live: automatically, moments after each sign-up (Pro plan). We search your people by email; a match is left untouched, and a new volunteer is created with name, email, and mobile phone.

Can sign-ups add people to a Breeze tag?

Yes — link a sheet to one tag and every sign-up gets it. Canceling removes the tag only if the sign-up is what added it; people who already had it are never touched.

Will it change existing records?

No — existing Breeze people are never edited at all. Only genuinely new volunteers are created.

When can I connect, and what will it cost?

The Breeze sync is built and waiting on partner API access from Tithe.ly (Breeze no longer offers public API keys). When it goes live, it'll be part of the Pro plan ($24/mo) — drop us a note from the help center for a heads-up.
